On Monday, Sprint announced the availability of the Dell Inspiron Mini 10, their first foray into the netbook category.  The device is available now in the Bay Area for $199.99 with a two-year contract and Sprint Mobile Broadband Plan (5GB for $59.99 per month) and $100 mail-in rebate.  The netbook uses Sprint's EV-DO Rev. A wireless service, with expected upload speeds of 350-500 kbps and download speeds of 600 kbps to 1.4 mbps. Peak download rates hit 3.1 Mbps and uploads can reach 1.8 Mbps.
