Employees at Office Depot have been pressured to sell protection plans and other add-ons to laptop computers- to the point where they sometimes tell customers who refuse them that their desired computers are out of stock. That's according to an investigative report published last week by Laptop Magazine, which cited multiple employees of the company.

Office Depot has announced that it will roll out a PC tech support service of its own. The retailer’s Tech Depot Services, which will provide PC supports and network installation to homes and businesses, is now available nationwide. Office Depot and N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc. last week announced the launch of the Office Depot Tech Trade-In program, which will allow users to trade in their old and unused electronics in exchange for a store gift card.
