Review: Delphi NAV300 GPS
Review: Delphi NAV300 GPS
January 2008 From Product Reviews
I’m just back from a trip to Spain and I wish I had taken a GPS with me. The maps were horrible and the signs confusing. We spent a good amount of time lost, and try asking for directions when you’re not fluent in the local dialect. While it’s true that in the States the roads are easier to navigate, the more I use GPS’s the more I appreciate them. The Delphi NAV300 GPS is medium priced ($399.99) and loaded with features. Slightly heavier than its predecessor (NAV200), it weighs 7.6 ounces. At 4.6 x 3.1 x 1.1 inches thick, it’s

Delphi NAV200
May 2007 From College Gear Guide
GPS navigation systems used to be a luxury gadget only for big spenders, but the decline in memory and LCD prices have helped make portable navigation devices affordable for more people. Even better, the new selection of less-expensive nav units functions nearly as well as their high-priced cousins. This Delphi NAV200 is a good example. First, besides being a GPS navigator, it's also a portable media player—playing MP3, digital photo and video files—though navigation is still its best skill. As soon as you turn it on, you come to the main menu which includes a clock, calculator, pictures and settings. For

Delphi NAV200
March 2007 From Product Reviews
As luck would have it, about the same time the Dual GPS unit arrived, a Delphi navigation system also showed up at the office, and we didn’t immediately realize that, except for minor cosmetic differences, they were the same product. This makes sense since Delphi is an OEM manufacturer for a lot of automotive products, especially XM radios, and apparently manufactures the NAV200 for Dual. Fuctionally, the NAV200 works the same as the Dual. The main menu provides buttons for navigation, music, movies, game (1), clock, calculator, pictures and settings. For navigation, I kept the unit in extended mode, as this offered more options.

New XM2go XM w/MP3 Ready to Ship
April 2006 From News
Phil Whitworth, product marketing director for XM Satellite Radio stopped by the E-Gear offices today to give us a hands-on look at the new XM2go products from Samsung and Pioneer, which go on sale in about a week. XM launched the XM2go platform in the fall of 2004 with the Delphi MyFi and added nearly identical products from Pioneer and Tau in 2005. The first XM2go products allowed users to record five hours of programming and had built-in antennas so you could listen to sat radio on the fly, provided you were in an area with strong signal coverage. The new XM2go products combine

Satellite Radio Dishes: The Goods in 2006 By Audrey Gray Imagine you've been invited to a party in mid-town Manhattan. You step into an elevator that rockets up thirty-six floors so fast you get a head rush. When the doors slide open, revealing sixty sound-proof, glass-walled studios, a glance in tells you the guest list of this bash is beyond eclectic. Eminem is spinning next to a gay talk show host. Thrash bands, reggae artists and classical violinists are all there. Oh, and did we mention? Howard Stern is in the house. The next day, you get another invite, this time

Delphi MyFi XM Radio in Your Pocket
February 2005 From Product Reviews
Most satellite radios are either car or home units, and there are many, like the XM Roady or Sirius Sportster, that can move between car and home. But their versatility ends there. You can't carry satellite radio with as you would an MP3 player, at least, not until now. Delphi's MyFi XM satellite radio is the first true portable satellite radio yet. It's a handheld radio, about the size of an old Walkman, that sports a built-in antenna and earbuds for listening anywhere just like you would your iPod (or other music player). That's almost enough to be excited about, but the MyFi's biggest

Chrysler 300C Huge Hemi is Hot, Even for Audio Lovers
February 2005 From Product Reviews
"Hemi power!" isn't exactly the battle cry of those of us more interested in our iPods, Palms or TiVos. So what is it about that popular mantra that gets guys in pickup trucks all excited? The power of that engine is rather seductive (or make that corruptive), hauling this large American-style sedan to illegal speeds easily. But a great engine alone cannot sell the technophile market. Since Chrysler has been married to Mercedes-Benz (Daimler), the company's product offerings have gone through major changes. Most of these changes have won over the hearts of automotive enthusiasts. In the new Chrysler 300C, Hemi power combined
