Pre Makes Twitter Tech Trending Topics

Twitter has released its top trending topics for 2009- the first year in which the online social network has been a major phenomenon. Somewhat surprisingly, the top ten list for most-tweeted Technology topics includes only one CE product- and even more surprisingly, that product is the Palm Pre.

The Pre took the #6 spot in the top ten, with the rest of the tech list made up of software applications (Google Wave, Tweetdeck, Google Latitude); operating systems (Snow Leopard, Windows 7); events (CES, Macworld, E3) and an anti-Amazon.com campaign (#amazonfail).
