Samsung SDC-80 Digital Camera
May 2001The camera's flash is detachable, which was fine with me since I mostly used the camera in the daytime. But attach the bulky, odd-shaped flash to the top, and you can't put the camera back in its small, soft case, plus carrying it around becomes more of a nuisance.
Another annoying problem I encountered was the unsecured lever switch between the normal and macro functions in front of the camera. It was so easy to move, I would accidentally switch functions by just holding the camera while taking pictures.
The SDC-80 has a video-out compatible with PAL and NTSC. It comes with a 4MB SmartMedia card, serial and video cables, a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, AC adapter, soft case and picture-editing software.
