And now, the highlight reel:
The Dark Knight - It’s as good as they say, so read my full review here.
Dodgeball - Easily one of the funniest movies of the past ten years, kudos to Fox for bringing this comedy gem to Blu-ray. The bold-colored uniforms look splendid in 1080p and the final act of the film greatly benefits from a lively new DTS-HD soundtrack.
Dumb and Dumber - "Don't you go dyin' on me!" Dumb and Dumber pulls off the comedy trifecta: it's hilarious, highly rewatchable and extremely quotable. Unfortunately, I didn't get a copy of this one, but here's hoping this new Blu-ray edition is a step up from my aging DVD.
Horton Hears a Who! - Speaking of Jim Carrey, here is again - this time in animated form. The pairing of Carrey with Steve Carell in a Dr. Seuss classic sounds like a promising recipe, but I haven't received this one yet so I can't speak from experience. Fox brings Horton to Blu-ray carrying the Digital Copy Special Edition banner. Features include a kid-friendly, PiP-style commentary track hosted by one of the Whos, JoJo.
