I recently had the opportunity to vacation in beautiful San Diego and decided to take the Phiaton MS 400 headphones along on the trip. As soon as I took them out of their travel-friendy hard case I had many on-lookers on the plane question me about their unique bright red color.

They are definitely noticeable anywhere you travel.

On the whole, music was clear and crisp with a nice balanced sound. The mids were rich and high-end clarity and detail were really good. They were extremely comfortable, allowing you to wear them for hours without any discomfort whatsoever. However, I had a few issues with the Phiaton headphones. After wearing them for some time your ears begin to get very warm.

Another issue I had with them was that they were not noise-canceling. I’ve always been a big proponent of noise-canceling headphones as they prevent the user from hearing unwanted outside noise.

Overall, I would definitely recommend these headphones to anyone who simply seeks good sound and comfort. They retail for $249.
