For other people to access your TiVo channel, all they need is a code which One True Media supplies and will e-mail to your friends with instructions if you so choose. There are also very easy to follow instructions on the site.
Try it yourself. You can watch the cheesy montage I created from the headshots of some of my co-workers or a video about the guy who lost weight playing video games by doing the following on your series 2 or 3 TiVo:
- Go to “Music, Photos, Products & More” on the TiVo main menu.
- Select “Home Movies by One True Media”
- Enter the code 8371-4606-9010-9393
- Follow the on-screen instructions to add content from E-Gear TV. You can even get a season pass!
One True Media holds its own with other media sharing sites, but the TiVo-sharing capability is a very enticing cherry on top.
