Review: Lexar Shoot-n-Sync SD Memory Card
Wirelessly Transfer Your Digital Photos
January 8, 2009 By Grant ClauserAs someone who takes a ton of photos, but has been known to leave photos on my camera for weeks, this system works great. At over $100, it's a very expensive SD card though, considering bargain SD cards can be found for $25 but without the Wi-Fi. I especially like how it takes the extra step of sending the pictures to my online account. Unfortunately it only sends the pictures to one site at a time, so you can't, for instance, have your pictures sent to facebook and dotphoto at the same time, but you can change your preferences easily within Eye-Fi manager. This system can also come in handy for professional photographers who need to constantly review their shots on a computer screen. I did occasionally receive a card error message from the camera, but these were easily resolved by either turning the camera on and off again, and once by taking the card out and re-inserting it.
