Denon Electronics announced a major holiday promotion this week, in which it will bundle Blu-ray Discs of the two most-recent Batman motion pictures- 2005’s “Batman Begins” and this year’s acclaimed “The Dark Knight”- with the purchase of certain Denon Blu-ray players.

The offer, reached in conjunction with Warner Home Video, is in effect from Nov. 23 through Jan. 10, and applies to Denon’s DVD-1800BD, DVD-3800BDCI and DVD-2500BTCI. The discs can be obtained by completing a claim form at point of purchase of the Denon devices.

“The Dark Knight truly epitomizes what this high-resolution format has to offer for home entertainment, both in terms of high-quality content, image and sound,” Denon Electronics senior vice president Joe Stinziano said as part of the announcement. “Most importantly, our Blu-ray promotion with Warner Home Video is designed to benefit both our valued retail partners as well as consumers by generating excitement for Blu-ray products.

“The Dark Knight,” directed by Christopher Nolan, is the highest-grossing film thus far in 2008, both domestically and worldwide.
