Blockbuster Entertainment has taken another big step towards the video-on-demand space.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the video rental giant has reached a deal with Sonic Solutions, owner of CinemaNow, to build its technology into a variety of devices, including set-top boxes, DVR boxes and eventually TV sets.
Blockbuster already has content deals with Vizio and other companies, while CinemaNow partners include LG and Samsung.
