Using the Aerial7 Chopper 2 headphones, the first thing you notice, of course, is the colors, which are inspired by sneaker culture.

The Chopper 2s feature loud, rainbow-colored stripes on each side, resembling the sort of striped shirt that was in fashion for men in 2005 or so. If nothing else, they're certainly a conversation piece, should you wear these headphones in public.

The headphones, endorsed by a cross-section of luminaries from the extreme sports and DJ worlds, work very well in their primary function. Music sounds great on them, as does conversation, and they cancel out outside noise very well. And even better, they're very comfortable- the Chopper 2 headphones are nicely padded, and cause no earaches.

The only downsides are the lack of ability to adjust sound levels, and the possibility that the loud colors clash with your personal style.

The Chopper 2 headphones can work with mp3 players, smartphones, and other devices. They retail at an MSRP of $69.99
